Announcing Our First Book

As you know, walking with God is one of the most exciting, troubling, inspiring, challenging, and life-transforming experiences an individual can have.

We cannot experience it by sitting in church.

We cannot experience it by spending time with a person.

There is something about the solitary sanctuary that is God that allows the amazing to happen in our lives: in our marriages, with our kids, at work, even when we’re fighting challenges and barriers that extend beyond our human limits.

We hope that everything we have created so far on Deep Spirituality has been helping you grow and experience the greatness of God in your life. That’s our goal; we don’t think we know everything, but we want to do everything we can to support people who are trying to have a personal relationship with God that is transformative.

Coming soon: Our first book will be available on April 24

We are excited to tell you about a new project that has been born out of all the work we have done thus far on Deep Spirituality. Our first book, He’s Not Who You Think He Is: Dropping Your Assumptions and Discovering God for Yourself, will be released on April 24.

In reality, this is a revised and updated edition of a book I had already written, but what I wrote is not nearly as good as what you’re going to get. The team here at Deep Spirituality convinced me that it has content everybody needs, and they worked tirelessly for over a year to turn it into something simply astounding.

This book has taken on new life because their eyes turned to it and saw something even more significant than I saw. And I think you’ll find it packed within those pages.

Discover the greatness of God with new dynamic tools

Not only have sections of the book been rewritten for clarity, but new tools have also been added to make this book a dynamic guide for growing your relationship with God.

There are drawings, charts, visual journal pages, and QR codes throughout the book that take you to music and media related to what you read.

It is truly an interactive experience, pulling together all the creative tools we use at Deep Spirituality to grow closer to God.

This book is a small effort to help anyone out there who’s trying to break through—maybe to break through emotional barriers, or maybe to break through religious assumptions that might be blocking you from having a transformative relationship with God.

In the weeks to come, we’re going to be sharing a lot about it, telling you where to get it, and maybe encouraging you to get it for a friend. Why? Because what we’ve all learned and what we hope everyone who reads it will learn is that God’s not who we think he is. We have to get rid of our assumptions and discover the greatness of God.
