Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.Philippians 4:6-7 NLT
Prayer is powerful.
The Bible says when we pray about everything under all circumstances, we experience a sense of peace that exceeds anything we can understand.
Prayer makes us closer to God, changes the lives of our friends, helps us understand our hearts, and refreshes us when we are tired.
Sometimes, we don’t quite know where to begin when we talk to God. The Bible is full of examples of all different kinds of prayer; men and women in the Bible talked to God when they were angry, guilty, grateful, needy, happy, and hurting.
So how do you know what specific kind of prayer you need today?
Take this quiz to find out which prayer you might need most today. Your results will suggest suggested Bible characters from the devotional, “How to Pray: 10 Tips To Help Anyone Connect With God” that give examples of how they had these kinds of prayers with God.
Remember, this is a fun and reflective way to understand our hearts and what we may need in our relationship with God. You may not agree completely with your results, as they likely won’t perfectly describe you.
But that’s okay – just have fun reflecting on the process and getting closer to God through prayer.
