What’s So Spiritual About Battle Royales?

Battle Royale is a game mode that has launched a wide variety of games that lets people play on a huge battlefield.

You have no one besides your teammates. You have to learn to survive together in this unforgiving world where everyone is just out for themselves. 

When I first started playing Battle Royale games I realized I needed other people to show me how to play, but also saw how the game helped me understand how to rely on my teammates. Communication is so important because when we find loot or another team we all have to work together in order to overcome the obstacle ahead of us.

A true friend loves regardless of the situation, and a real brother exists to share the tough times.

When you’re starting out to play it can be really frustrating because the only way you’ll really learn to play is through trial and error. There were times I was playing Apex with my roommate that just ended in the first couple of minutes because I couldn’t aim or wouldn’t even know how to use the weapons and abilities I had. But the more I played the better I became and through these hard times my roommate helped me through getting better.

If one person falls, the other person can reach out to help. But those who are alone when they fall have no one to help them. [12] An enemy might be able to defeat one person, but two people can stand back-to-back to defend each other. And three people are even stronger. They are like a rope that has three parts wrapped together—it is very hard to break.

People can often get better playing these games by themselves and that’s totally fine. But there’s something to playing it with friends that you just can’t beat. Whenever I play alone I feel less like I’m accomplishing something great, but more like I’m just lonely and end up feeling frustrated by myself whenever I lose. 

An equally important part of playing the game is also winning. When you’re working towards a similar goal with your teammates it creates a bond and builds a friendship. Purpose when done together brings people closer together through the process of failure and success.

The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. [25] This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other. [26] If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad.

Everyone usually has a unique way they play the game and have a favorite weapon that has it’s advantages and disadvantages. When part of a team, it’s always important to see the usefulness of having different perspectives and talents each person has. Every person on the team is important no matter what role they take and who they are.
