Looking at two key areas in my life that stop me from being motivated to build relationships: pride and insecurity.
Learning to understand your fear and how to overcome it.
Learning why we distance so we can learn how to draw closer to God.
When we are insecure, it can be easy to feel like we are a “nobody going nowhere.”
God doesn’t want us to feel like we have to conform in order to be accepted, and wants to help us become strong enough to stand for what we believe and who we are.
Perseverance is the continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, discouragement or opposition. To persist and not give up.
This study focuses on the stories of Saul and David, in order to get a better understanding of what it means to be fake and what it means to be real.
A courageous person is someone who isn’t shaken by circumstances, may experience fear but doesn’t live in it, and is secure and strong no matter what. Does this describe you?
With insecurity, God never responds with criticism. He responds with a purpose to live for something beyond themselves.
God’s dream is to free us from the things we feel imprisoned by. He wants us to feel comforted, confident, and happy.
God has been sticking with you whether you realize it or not. Even when we’ve been resistant, unbelieving, or uncaring, he has stuck with us because he believes in us. How do you see God has stuck with you this entire time regardless of how you’ve responded to difficulty?
What were your expectations for your life up to this point? What expectations were met? What fell short? What were exceeded?
