Check out this week's Mini Quiet Time to learn from Jesus how to defeat your own doubts.
What we can learn from how God lead Moses to stop settling.
In a moment of crisis, some unlikely but life-changing relationships can be forged.
Life is unquestionably a roller coaster reaching great heights and then sudden, dizzying falls. Without convictions to anchor and stabilize us, we can begin losing faith in God and become unsteady.
When we live with a genuine faith in God, we are not afraid to dream, imagine, sacrifice, or take risks. Our confidence is in the God of Scripture, whose presence and power flow through those who have chosen to believe.
Faith makes the impossible possible. Our relationship with God should produce the kind of faith that moves mountains.
Jesus' life was a powerful example and inspiring blueprint that guides us in living a life of faith that changes the world.
Each of us was given a destiny. God chose our talents, our passions, our abilities, our strengths, and our weaknesses all before we were even born. Our destiny is not just about us.
Believing in the “Spirituality of Jesus” means believing he is intimately guiding our lives. Spirituality becomes a way of life.
Jesus was sent by God to be the chief persuader. He was on a mission to convince, and in John 11:32-44 he is faced with grief, one of the most traumatic afflictions of faith any human being can experience. The sisters of Lazarus had watched their brother die when Jesus failed to arrive, and were plunged into deep grief accompanied by doubt. This grieving doubt had an emotional effect on Jesus as Scripture says he was “deeply moved” (John 11:33,38).
