Episode notes
Happiness is one of the most important subjects of our time. We can be unhappy about suffering, pain, grief, loss, stress, and so much more.
But more than that, I count everything as loss compared to the priceless privilege and supreme advantage of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord [and of growing more deeply and thoroughly acquainted with Him— a joy unequaled]. For His sake I have lost everything, and I consider it all garbage, so that I may gain Christ.
Philippians 3:8 AMP
We may look to many places or people to find happiness, but ultimately God is how we stay happy and have inner peace. Relying on an unchangeable God will help us stay steady and happy no matter what happens in our lives.
Check out our newest One Quick Thought to learn more about what God says about how to be happy.
