We won’t experience much growth in our intimacy with God until we deal with the superficial issues in our lives.
We have to take a deep look into our hearts and characters to experience lasting growth and change. This means overcoming our fear of discussing the spiritual issues that trouble us. We should regularly share with our closest spiritual relationships our doubts, questions, and even our temptations to abandon the faith.
We must also overcome our fear of discussing sin, especially the concealed sins that eat away at our heart and soul. We must resolve our unfinished spiritual business if we hope to thrive spiritually and renew our attraction to God.
The following is a collection of supplemental devotionals, videos, and podcast episodes to expand on Chapter 5 of the book, He’s Not Who You Think He Is: Dropping Your Assumptions and Discovering God for Yourself, and to help you develop a fresh perspective on God.
